Bruschetta With Tomatoes And Basil 8 Plum tomatoes; chopped
3/4 c Basil; fresh and chopped
2 tb Olive oil
1 cl Garlic; finely chopped
Salt and pepper
1 Loaf sourdough or baguette
Combine tomatoes, basil, garlic and olive oil in a bowl; season to taste. Slice bread 1/2 to 3/4" thick; broil or grill on both sides until lightly toasted. Spoon tomato mixture, along with juices, on top of bread.
