Pasta E Fagioli 2 cn Tomato sauce (8 oz ea)
1 cn -or 2 kidney, cannelloni, garbanzo beans, whatever your kids like (16 oz size)
1 lb Pasta shells are good because they "cup" & catch the beans
Olive oil
Garlic
Diced vegetables
Saute couple of cloves garlic in a bit of olive oil. 2. Add tomato sauce and beans and simmer while the pasta cooks. Add more liquid if necessary. 3. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta al dente. Drain pasta and mix with the sauce. Serve with grated cheese. Serves 6 to 8.
